Meet Wellfounded, a new, fiercely independent, female and Latinx-owned cannabis brand dedicated to plant-based wellness and proudly pioneers legal, outdoor California cultivation with a family-run farm in Santa Barbara County.

I got to try out the 1:1 Relief Tincture infused with pomegranate oil and safflower oil, beneficial for its high concentration of essential heart healthy fatty acids. It’s been warm and we don’t have A/C, so I’ve been making ice pops to cool down. These pomegranate and mint tea popsicles are accurately dosed with Wellfounded’s tincture and finished with a baby hemp leaf from Grow It From Home.

Pomegranate Mint Tea Ice Pops
Serves 6

Ingredients
• 1 cup pomegranate juice
• Few drops of a tincture of your choice or Sous Weed oil*
• 1 1/2 cups mint tea, cooled, sweetened to your liking
• 6 baby hemp leaves

Directions

  1. Fill popsicle molds 1/3 full with pomegranate juice. Add in a few drops of your favorite tincture at your preferred dosage. Freeze for 1 hour.

  2. Remove from freezer and fill the popsicle mold with cooled mint tea, leaving about an inch of space to account for expanding. Add in a baby hemp leaf as a garnish.

  3. Insert the popsicle stick and freeze until solid, about 4-6 hours.

*Note: The amount of tincture specified in this recipe is a very loose suggestion; the actual amount you use should be modified based on the strength of your oil and the potency you desire. Dosing homemade edibles can be tricky, so the best way to test for potency is to start with one serving, and wait one to two hours, then make an informed decision on whether to consume more. Always dose carefully and listen to your body, and never drive under the influence of cannabis.
