Congrats to my friends at OM Edibles on their new extra-strength Multi-Herb Elixirs! OM harnesses the natural restorative power of plant medicine to create superior cannabis-infused products that enhance self-care and wellness. This Daytime Elixir uplifts the senses with the essence of ginger & echinacea.

To celebrate the launch, we partnered up to create this Spicy Ginger Fizz mocktail that’s perfect for a long weekend in quarantine. It’s made with a simple syrup infused with fresh ginger, charred red jalapeños, and OM’s Daytime Elixir. It’s fire, it’s ice, and everything nice.

Spicy Ginger Fizz with OM Edibles Daytime Elixir
Serves 4
Dosage: 10mg THC/1mg CBD per person

Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup ginger, peeled and minced
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/4 cup water
• 3 red jalapeños
• 2 droppers (2 ml) OM Edibles Daytime Elixir
• Ice
• Soda water

Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, bring ginger, sugar, and water to a simmer over medium-low heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Cover, reduce heat, and allow to simmer on low for 10 minutes.
2. While the syrup is simmering, char the jalapeños by turning on your gas stove flame on medium. Using tongs, hold the pepper over the flame for a minute on each side, until the skin chars and blisters. Deseed the peppers and place into the ginger syrup to infuse.
3. After 10 minutes, remove the ginger-chili syrup from heat; cover and steep for 1 hour. 4. Transfer the ginger and chili syrup into a blender or food processor and blend until uniform. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the finished syrup into a container.
5. To serve: Add 3-4 Tbsp of ginger-chili syrup into a highball filled with ice and 1/2 ML (or 1/2 a dropper) of OM Edibles Daytime Elixir. Stir well and top with soda water.

*If you don’t have access to OM Edibles Daytime Elixir, feel free to substitute with your preferred Sous Weed tincture or a serving of Sous Weed honey loosened with a bit of warm water.
